Mushroom Baked Rice

Method:
- Pan-fry bacon till it’s ¾ crisped up. Remove bacon.
- Add garlic and onions and stir-fry till brown.
- Add carrots, broccoli, mushroom, rice and a small knob of butter. Mix well.
- Add in water and ½ packet of Fassler Gourmet Mushroom Soup and mix well.
- Cover the pot with a lid or aluminium foil and bake for 30 mins at 190 degrees.
- Open up and check if rice is almost cooked. Add in salmon pieces and mix well.
- Top with cheese and then bacon. Continue baking without lid for another 15 – 20 mins or till the cheese browns.
