Garlic Butter Baked Cod

Serves (no. of pax): 2-3 pax
Difficulty Level: Easy

500g

Cod fillet

1/2 

Lemon, Juiced 

Lemon, Sliced

4 Tbsp

Unsalted butter

5-6 cloves

Garlic, minced

2 Tbsp

Fresh Parsley, Chopped

1 Tbsp

Chilli flakes 

 

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together lemon juice, butter, minced garlic, minced parsley and chilli flakes.
  3. Pat Cod fillet dry with a paper towel and place on sliced lemon in a baking dish.
  4. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  5. Spread garlic butter evenly over Cod fillet and bake for 25-30 minutes at 180 degrees.

Note: Baking time will vary depending on the thickness of the fillet. Cook until the fish is opaque in the middle and flakes easily.
