250g 

Takoyaki Flour

Egg

750ml

Water

280g

Japanese Octopus

Spring Onion 

Tempura Crunch

Pickled Red Ginger

Toppings

Takoyaki Sauce

Kewpie Mayonnaise 

Bonito Flakes

Spring Onion

 

Method:

  1. Make Takoyaki batter by mixing flour, egg and water. 
  2. Heat up Takoyaki pan and brush oil in each hole.
  3. Pour batter in and add a piece of Japanese Octopus into each hole.
  4. Add spring onion, tempura crunch and picked red ginger.
  5. Turn the balls and continue to add batter to fill up the holes.
  6. Brush Takoyaki balls with oil if needed.
  7. Once the exterior is crispy, remove and top with Takoyaki sauce, kewpie mayonnaise, bonito flakes and spring onion.
