I'm sure 9 out of 10 of us loves adding garlic into our dishes! Try incorporating it into a simple fried rice dish and elevate it up a notch by adding some popping ebiko for adding texture and umami flavours!

Quantity Ingredients
1 Cup Japanese Rice, Uncooked
1 Cup Water
Olive Oil
10 Cloves Garlic
1 Yellow Onion, Minced
250g Peeled Crabmeat
3 Eggs
200g Edamame
100g Ebiko Roe
1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
To Taste Ground Pepper

  1. Cook Japanese rice the night before using 1:1 water:rice ratio. Cool down and keep it inside the fridge.
  2. Heat up oil in a pan and add beaten eggs. Lightly cook the eggs and transfer it to a bowl.
  3. Add more oil and garlic. Stir-fry garlic till brown.
  4. Add onions and stir-fry till translucent.
  5. Add peeled crabmeat and mix well.
  6. Add cooked rice, pepper and soy sauce. Mix well.
  7. Switch off the heat, add in edamame and ebiko roe and give it a good mix.

Note: Squeeze out excess liquid from the crabmeat before cooking it.
